Dr. Stephen Doggett
MA MB BChir (Cambridge 1988) MRCGP
Having done a first degree in Cambridge, I studied clinical medicine at Barts in London. After Qualification I worked in a number of hospitals in London and North Kent before I joined Steve Porter at Grove House Surgery in 1992. 5 years later we completed the development of a new surgery building in Albert Street, which allowed us to improve and expand the services we offer. Although we are one of the smaller island practices we aim to provide a comprehensive range of services in a friendly atmosphere. Away from the surgery, I spend my summers at the Whitecroft sports ground playing for the cricket club.
Dr. Petrina Williams MRCGP
I became a fully qualified GP in July 2013. Originally from St Helena, I went to Southampton University and undertook my medical training in England. I now work full time at Grove House Surgery and feel I have become well established with patients, colleagues and staff.
Dr. Alison Caddy MBBS BSc DRCOG DMCC DFSRH MRCGP
I qualified at the Royal Free Hospital in London, spending 16 years as a Military GP working within the NHS and the Armed Forces both at home and overseas. As a GP Locum I work at practices Island wide, but I really value having my weekly surgery at Grove House where I can develop a close rapport with my patients in such a friendly, professional and supportive environment. As well as the full range of GP services I am also able to offer coil and implant fitting at Grove House Surgery. I have lived on the Island for almost three years and love it here; it's a great place to bring up my two young children.
All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice. The average pay for GPs working at Grove House Surgery in the last financial year was £60,449 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 2 full time GPs and 2 part time GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months.
